Yesterday, Smt. Sudha Raghunathan graced the stage with an unforgettable evening of mellifluous music, adorned in one of her eye-catching Kanjeevarams—a picture of grace and perfection, as always. She treated us to a repertoire of unusual ragas, including Gavathi, Poornashadjam, and Ganga, making the concert a truly memorable experience. Accompanying Smt. Sudha Raghunathan was the charming Embar Kannan on the violin, who, as always, did complete justice to the main artist. The charismatic Vijay Natesan on the mridangam was in top form, ready to give the rasikas a wonderful experience with his skillful play. Omkar on the ghatam provided excellent support throughout, rounding off the ensemble beautifully. |
