Sri. TM Krishna

A concert by Sri. T M Krishna is always filled with high expectations from the audience, anticipating brilliance. He not only meets these expectations but consistently surpasses them, delivering even more than what is anticipated on every occasion.Yesterday was no different, as T M Krishna once again exceeded expectations. The concert's mood was beautifully set with the ragam Bhoopalam, followed by a brilliant rendition of Kalyani. The highlight of the evening was the deeply moving Shankarabharanam, which was handled with such emotion and mastery that it brought many in the audience to tears.

Sri. H K Venkatram on the violin provided excellent support, expertly maintaining the mood of the concert, particularly during the ragam delivery of Kapi Narayani. On the mridangam, the doyen Dr. Thiruvarur Bhaktavatsalam shone in all his glory, ensuring the concert's tempo remained vibrant and lively. His performance, alongside the young and energetic Chandrashekar Sarma on the ghatam, culminated in a stunning thaniavarthanam that drew roaring applause from the audience—a true testament to the exceptional quality of the percussion support yesterday.
