Jayanthi Kumaresh

Yesterday the audience at Odakathur Mutt was witness to a concert that can be best described as 'sheer bliss', wherein Jayanthi Kumaresh played the veena in such a manner, as if tugging at the heart strings of all present. The atmosphere was charged with divinity, combined with a calmness that created a profound sense of oneness with the soul. The effervescence that Jayanthi exuded throughout the concert was infectious, spreading to everyone present and the feeling was just magical.

Brilliantly accompanying Jayanthi on the mridangam was Patri Sri Satish Kumar, along with Trichy Sri Krishnaswamy on the ghatam. Together, they elevated the concert to great heights, adding depth and dynamism to the performance. A concert that will remain in the minds of the rasikas for a long time for sure.
